100 word challenge week #8


I was swimming in my backyard pool and thinking to myself, tomorrow I’m gonna dress up as a white spooky ghost. I got out of the water and started to make my costume, when I finally finished I went out to get some candy for the trick-or-treaters. I got out of the car and saw a little flame on my porch. I ran over too try and put the fire out with my foot. Then I realized I had just been pranked. My costume was burned but it looked totally awesome. That’s how I celebrated Halloween!

    Your writing would improve with more descriptive vocabulary e.g. '___ water', '___ costume', and ___ candy. Avoid slang words like 'gonna'. Congratulations on completing the 100 Word Challenge Week #8.

Dr. Hand had 1 weird obsession, with hands, one day he had finally invented a contraption that turns humans into hands. “Now it is time to turn into a spider” he said with a grin but when he stepped in the machine it exploded! The doctor landed on top of PizzaPalace with a thud. He felt dizzy, he noticed a mirror but when he looked he saw SuperHand. He stood up and climbed on the edge of the building with pride knowing his machine had actually worked.

One day a man named Todd was wandering around and stumbled upon an orange berry. He ate the berry and slowly turned into a giant!   Meanwhile on the other side of town a man named Bob ate the same exact berry as Todd for whatever reason he became a sheriff with a bent gun. Todd thought that since he was a giant he could destroy anything he wants then he started breaking things. Bob came along and stopped him by scaring him with the gun. That children is the history of the broken gun, now let’s move on to the next exhibit.
